diction blog yo

So check it out, My bros and I were Chilin a few days back and we where like, yo we should do something brah. Well theres this dope elementary school by my crib so we went over with a couple basketballs, and were like check it out we can dunk, yo. So anyway, every time the ball came to my hand I went in beast mode and darn near broke the rim with the force of my dunk.
After a while of shootin around we decided to amp it up you know. So we tried to keep rebounding of the rim then do a dunk like those boys on the Harlem Globetrotters. To make a short story shorter we eventually got kicked out and left that dope spot yo.

extra credit blog not complete

My most proud writing piece was in 7th grade, I wrote about my favorite place on this earth. Wenatchee Always had a magical effect on me mainly because my cousins and goofy old grandparents that reside their. What I was particularly proud of was that it gave you a good taste of a great flavor. In addition to my description of Wenatchee I told some stories about those silly old residents, My beloved grandparents. Grandma Mary sadly died the year prior to this piece of writing so I wrote this as a slight tribute to her. Furthermore they had this one photo album called "The Finger Book" that was definitely a family favorite.

outside reading.

In my opinion the book couldn't be written better. The dialogue is true and seems so real and raw. Furthermore, unlike most books this novel is uncensored and shows how people his age talk and act. I do think that the predicament that holden is in is almost to depressing and pathetic for what a pitiful man he is; but in his own kind of way he's a great guy.

the theme of the book so far is holden trying to find a true home, a place where he belonged and felt like he mattered. Ackley the slop in Holden's dorm is treated unfairly be Holden but at the same time I think that he likes Ackley. Ackley is a person who holden can relate to and or feel bad for. Holdens whole jerk persona is really just a thin shell that hides his forgiving, depressed, and even self loathing being.

My creative project so far is most likely going to be a rap of some sort that puts the whole story and it's message to a stylin beat. Honestly Catcher in the rye is different than any other book I have ever read. The type of writing and the plot in general are very foreign to me.
